Submit past-due invoices from a customer to our Assist service
Now that you've connected your accounting system, confirmed your Basic and Company Settings, and subscribed, you're ready to submit accounts to our Assist service.
To make a new placement, you'll start by heading over to the Past Due section within the application. You can find that by clicking here, or you can simply click the red Past Due button on the right side of the application. This is also the default screen within the CollBox system when you log in.
From the Past Due screen, you will see all of your past-due accounts and associated Customers. Find the account you'd like to submit to Assist by sorting by Customer, Number of Invoices, Age, or Balance, and then click on the Customer.
The next screen you'll see will detail all of the information for that Customer. Review the information for accuracy then click on See Recovery Options... to proceed.
You'll then be given the option to use either of our products, Assist and Collect. To submit the account to Assist, click on Review Assist Offer.
On the next page, you'll see the details about submitting the account to Assist, so make sure to review them carefully. Below, we'll cover each element in detail.
First, is the Cost of Service. You will spend one credit to submit this customer and associated invoices to the Assist service.
Next up is the Recoverable Amount. You will receive all dollars recovered. There is no additional fee for using Assist.
After Recoverable Amount, you'll see the Average Timeline panel. The specialist we assign the account to will work the account to completion and make every attempt to get you paid.
Lastly, you'll want to review the important notes at the bottom of the screen as well as take a look at the Terms of Service of submitting with us. After that, simply click the Submit for Assist button at the bottom of the screen and you are finished.
Note: By clicking Submit for Assist, you're agreeing to the Terms of Service
Once you see the Placement Submitted for Recovery! alert, you will have successfully submitted the account to Assist.
Afterward, you will receive an e-mail from us confirming the submission of your account that will also include the details and contact information for the A/R specialist we've assigned to your account.
Now you can get back to running your business and we will keep you updated as the specialist makes progress on getting you paid!
